Designing the experience
Defining the real organisational intent, choosing the right vehicle and shaping the arc of the experience so it develops people rather than simply filling a diary.
Leadership development, deliberately designed
It should be an experience deliberately designed to change how people think, lead and work together. Standby Go works alongside organisations to design experiences that create measurable behavioural and organisational outcomes rather than one-off activities.
Standby Go offers a single service: Leadership Experience Design. Coaching, planning support and mentoring are not separate products, they are how the work is delivered.
Defining the real organisational intent, choosing the right vehicle and shaping the arc of the experience so it develops people rather than simply filling a diary.
One-to-one, coaching-informed support for the person carrying the experience: confidence, judgement, presence and the readiness to lead something they have not led before.
Structured planning support that converts a broad ambition into stages, stakeholders, briefings, budget, resourcing, risk and review, so the leader can move with clarity.
Support through delivery while ownership stays with the client, followed by reflection and reporting that evidences behavioural, team and organisational learning.
The framework shows how Standby Go guides a nominated leader through the full journey, from the first flicker of intent to reviewed, evidenced action. The experience is the vehicle. Identity-level growth is the outcome.

Alongside focused personal support, every Leadership Experience Design engagement is planned, mentored and reviewed inside a private Standby Go workspace. The nominated lead works through a structured planning cycle with red, amber and green clarity at every step. Mentor conversations happen inside the plan — not in scattered emails — and an approval gate opens only when the core sections are ready. Access is by invitation only and arranged privately with each client; the workspace is not publicly available or open to self-registration.

A repeatable five-stage journey that guides organisations from an initial ambition to measurable behavioural and organisational outcomes.
Surface the real organisational ambition beneath the ask — cohesion, capability, culture, confidence, readiness — and name it clearly so the whole journey can serve it.
Shape a purposeful development experience around that intent. Choose the right vehicle and structure it to change how people think, lead and work together.
Turn intent into an ownable plan: stakeholders, briefings, budget, resourcing, risk and readiness — so leaders move with clarity and confidence.
Mentor through delivery while ownership stays with the nominated leader. Every moment is used deliberately to develop people, not just complete an activity.
Capture behavioural change, leader growth, team development and organisational learning — evidencing measurable outcomes rather than one-off events.
The experience carries the growth.
Coaching and design across the whole journey.
Identity-level growth, not just a completed event.
"Leadership is a journey, not an event. Standby Go guides people through the moments that define who they become next."
